AME partners with Mayo to publish Women’s Health Investigation
On January 11, 2018, AME Publishing Company signed a formal agreement with the Mayo Clinic to jointly establish Women’s Health Investigation (WHI). Both parties jointly own the journal (Figure 1).
Professor Daniel M. Breitkopf from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Mayo Clinic will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of WHI. “Dr. Breitkopf is a senior clinician and researcher in our O&G Department. I believe he is the most qualified for the job.” said Prof. David Hayes, Medical Director of Mayo Clinic Care Network, Mayo Clinic.
Prof. Breitkopf placed great hopes on this cooperation. He also had witnessed the rapid development of AME during months of negotiations. With the launching of more peer-reviewed journals and the inclusion of QIMS in SCIE, AME continues to expand at a steady pace, with richer experiences in academic publishing.
“AME Publishing Company has an impressive track record of developing peer reviewed journals.” commented Prof. Breitkopf.
The signing of the agreement between Mayo Clinic and AME at the beginning of 2018 forged a partnership of win-win cooperation. With the support of Mayo Clinic and Prof. Breitkopf, we are confident to publish a globally recognized journal in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
