Dr. Daniel Breitkopf is an associate professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Breitkopf received his M.D. degree from the State University of New York-Downstate College of Medicine and completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Vermont. After spending 12 years at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, he joined Mayo Clinic’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2010. At Mayo Clinic, he serves as the residency program director and gynecology division chair.
Women’s Health Investigation (WHI, Womens Health Investig, Online ISSN 2616-4299) is a peer-reviewed and open access journal that embraces the full scope of research in women’s healthcare. The breadth of Women’s Health Investigation spans basic science, clinical medicine, surgery, epidemiology, and prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and supportive care. The aim of the journal is to provide a forum for all clinicians and researchers including but not limited to, gynecologists, obstetricians, internists, and surgeons to publish original scientific articles in clinical and laboratory research relevant to diagnosis and treatment of women’s health disorders. Additionally, the journal seeks to publish articles regarding innovations in medical education of women’s health specialists.
