Dr. Zaraq Khan is an assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medical Education, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA. He received his medical degree from The Aga Khan University Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Khan completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester and obtained a Masters in Clinical Research from the Mayo Graduate School of Medical Education. He next completed a clinical fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester. After fellowship, he joined faculty at the Mayo Clinic and completed another two year sabbatical travelling fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic and reproductive surgery as well as reproductive organ transplant. His clinical interests include surgical management of advance endometriosis, müllerian anomalies and fibroids as well as ovarian tissue cryopreservation and fertility preservation. His research focuses on studying molecular mechanisms involved in endometriosis pathophysiology and studying long term surgical outcomes in fibroid and endometriosis surgeries.
