Linda C. Yang, MD, MS, FACOG is an assistant professor in the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Yang received her undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998 and her medical degree from University of Michigan in 2002. She completed her OB/GYN residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2006, followed by a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in 2008. During her fellowship training, she also received a Masters of Science in Clinical Research from University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Yang’s clinical practice focuses on minimally invasive treatment options for women with a wide variety of gynecologic issues including uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding and endometriosis.
Dr. Yang is an active member of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and AAGL (Elevating Gynecologic Surgery). She regularly participates as course faculty for national meetings.
Dr. Yang’s research interests include quality and safety, surgical outcomes, patient education tools, and surgical education. As a surgical educator and Director of Gynecologic Surgery Simulation, she has developed laparoscopic simulation models and workshops for the OB/GYN residency surgical skills curriculum.
